Assessment and Consultation in School Psychology Research Lab

In the Assessment and Consultation in School Psychology Research Lab students work to address practical questions and problems encountered by school psychologists on a daily basis. Students have focused on topics such as issues surrounding the utility and validity of the tests and other assessment procedures used by school psychologists, executive functioning, and the impact of chronic illness on school functioning. Student have studied these topics in a range of populations including children from different cultural backgrounds and gifted children. ​Previous students have also examined the factors that impact the consultant-consultee relationship as they relate to outcomes for students.
